TeQ Congress: Raw Materials and Process Technologies for the future Brazil
The great challenge and opportunity for the Process Technology Industry in Brazil is the variety of raw materials which are available at moderate prices. No other country in the world has the resources of biomass as feedstock for the chemical and process industries at an amount that Brazil has. The profitability of Brazil’s offshore oil fields is under discussion in the moment but nevertheless it might be also an efficient and inexpensive source for the classical petroleum based flow sheet for chemical products.
